Full yellow with a greenish glint. Citrus, honeysuckle, and iodine on the nose. Medium weight with a wonderful, mouth coating glycerine texture. Sweet lemon fruit, good salinity, and excellent stoniness which compensates for only sound acidity. Long finish. Excellent overall but it lacks the zip and tension of truly great Chablis.

Classic Raveneau at a decade - light gold in color, wonderful nose of lanolin, coconut creme pie, steely minerals. Just seamless on the palate. Too bad the prices are insane now..

Super pure, mineral-driven and fresh, with notes of lemon, citrua oil, hazelnut, chalky mineral notes, wet stone, some white flowers, fennel seed, notea of tangerine. It's medium+ bodied, with very good persistence, it has high acidity, superb tension, super long finish with so much minerality and precision. Fantastic Chablis.

After I recently had the outer worldly 2012 Blanchot, this 1er Cru is not far off. Clearly lighter on the palate, almost too light, but then it builds on the palate with an aromatic firework around lemon curd, towering minerality, pop corn. Let ng finish. Raveneau does it again.

Yellow fruit, honeysuckle, and iodine. Bright and energetic but not at the level of the finest vintages.
