Very similar to 2 years ago. Somewhat tart and tannic on its own but very tasty with our malai kafta, the daal makhanai and some of the tandorri platter (especially the lamb sekh kabab, the chicken malai kebab and the chikcen tikka). Alas, Princeton Cross Culture forgot to include our pakoras in the takeout order :(
A good paiirng, although on its own this wine is inferior to the 2010 vintage. Drink now or hold.
Good qpr for $20.25 / bottle on close-out.

Coravin pull #1. Solid, but not quite white I'd hoped for. Appearance is bright red and see-through. Nose of sour cherries than lean towards balsamic and some mustiness. Flavor is mostly sour cherry with some chocolate, cream, and underbrush. Smooth on entry, with some fine tannins that tamp down on the finish. Tasty and balanced, but not outstanding. probably improves a little with time and/or food.

A tasty wine. Very good with the tandoori chicken and the chicken korma. Good red fruit, cherry, spice and a touch of earth. Probably better with a year of bottle age, as our 2010 bottles drank better than this does now. Drink or hold.
