Nose petroleum and something earthy and sweet at the same time Quite high acidity and somewhat bitter ending but flavors of petroleum, honey, pear, apple. A good wine, my last bottle.

Very plesant, lots of petroleum and honey when smelling the wine, the taste is balanced and thick with petroleum and fruit but still acidity that makes the mouth water. Enjoyed very much on it own before the dinner and after with some cheeses.

Course wines from Alsace and Germany (Stockholm): Nose with some peach, apple, citrus, a light petroleum notes, stony mineral, typical Riesling perfume and elegance. Dry palate but with a fruity attack, apple, peach, good concentration, high acidity, almost sparkles on the palate, just a hint of bitterness and a stoney aftertaste. 88 p

Kloster Eberbach tasting with Dieter Greiner, many 2012s (Stockholm): Nose with apple, some white peach, some mineral, some blackcurrant buds, elderflower and typical Riesling perfume. Dry on the palate with yellow apple, quite good concentration, honey, some mineral, a hint of spice, good acidity. A foody style, drinkable now. 88 p. In a way, the style of this wine can be described as intermediate between the two wines from vineyards in Rauenthal (Baiken and Gehrn).
