Very sweet, some acidity, stone fruits, honey. As a semi-dry, I would rate it lower, but without a label I would rate it higher. I think of semi-dry as having a touch of sweetness, but this is just sweet. Not bad, just much sweeter than I wanted.

At a friends house for dinner, my first experience with this wine. Have not had much from NY Finger lakes region, nice wines, seem to be improving quality
Light gold color, fruit and white flowers on the nose. Crisp sweetness, green apples, poached pears, apricot. Medium to short finish. Was a very nice pairing for a salad with some fruit and cheese.

Popped and poured. Served with Korean fried chicken and tater tots. This reminds me of a Spatlese. Nice crisp sugar - rock candy, but one from a higher end store without all of the random artificial flavors. Great acidity which pulls everything together and keeps the wine refreshing instead of overly sweet. Pairs really well with the salt in the potatoes. Different from its German cousins in the lack of secondary or tertiary flavors, but still a nice wine and not a bad price.

Interesting Finger Lake Riesling, from a very hot vintage. The region had the earliest harvest on record and the wines show with their roundness. This has the acidity to get the job done, but much different than the 2011 vintage. Fruit profile is peaches, but almost the flavor of canned or bottled peached, due to RS. Also some dried turkish apricots on the nose and palate. The mineral backbone that is usually bracing from this winery is more subtle in 2012, but there, with almost an effervescence. It displays a tangerine like acidity in the mouth. Good lengthy finish that makes you want to take another sip or glass to analyze this bizarre yet pleasant wine. I would love to try their late harvest, soon. Little Sulfur used here, so I don't know how long these will drink for.

Summer's End Brunner w Old Friends (East Killara): Light hessian funk, white florals, white candy, sweet, finishes with more chewy hessian. Surprising development!
