Brilliant wine! Beautiful straw colored with powerful aromas of peaches, honeysuckle and slate. On the palate fantastic flavors of passionfruit, orange and ripe melon. Medium bodied with exacting acidity. Paired great with curried duck with pineapple.

Twin Cities Wine Club German Riesling Tasting (Gail's House): A beautiful wine with apricots, peach, floral and minerals dancing around in your mouth. The wine is balanced and shows a lot of complexity. Medium finish with a nice combo of fruits and minerals.

Pale golden. Somewhat subdued and restrained on the nose. Slatey on the finish. Rich and tingly. Sublime fruit. Some mealiness with good acidity. Lovely balance, super clean. Auslese of the vintage!

Selbach Oster Tasting at Liner and Elsen (Portland, OR): Cooked apricots jump right out of the glass when I smell the wine. There are some honey scents too, along with some musky petrol, and a bit of greenish rhubarb. Light green apples come in up front and are followed by a hint of honey and some ripe pears on the mid palate. The acidity is excellent throughout the entire experience. The wine has a cool, crisp mineral zing toward the finish as well.

The nose is dusty with lots of mineral notes, light peach scents, and hints of richness. The wine melts gently off the palatte with light peach and lemon peel flavor. The acidity is lower, but the wine is quite clean and well balanced.
