  It is a very good quality wine. It has a nice fruit concentration and a decent balance between alcohol and tannins. It shows some degree of complexity provided by floral and spicy notes, but it is not enough to consider it outstanding, and the finish could be longer. Can drink now, but it has enough tannic structure and fruit concentration to develop some more complex tertiary aromas over the next 5-8 years.

  Ordered a bottle over dinner at Il Cavallo Scosso in Asti.
  Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
  Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of sandalwood, toasted vanilla oak, coconut, earth, and faint roses. Developing.
  On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, high alcohol, dry puckery high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of vanilla oak, sour red cherry, tea leaves, spice, and earth with more air. Long finish.
  Very good quality. This needs time to integrate and develop. Give this serious Nebbiolo d'Alba another 4-5 years.

  Quite, dark, clear with slow legs. Nose: light and elegant. Sweet blueberries. Taste: quite sweet of low acidity. Nice tannins, nothing stands out. Balanced. Great drinkability but I prefer more frim tannins.
