Great Columbia Gorge Pinot. When I think of Pinot Noir, Columbia Gorge is definitely not the first region that comes to mind, I automatically think of Willamette, but this was very nice wine, you should try it!

Strong red fruit, cola, some earth, good acidity. Intensity. But, like so many wines today, too much alcohol. As a result, I find the wine imbalanced. You kind of sense it on the nose.

Fairly fruity on the vibrant red toned nose. Very pretty and contained. All lovely red fruit. Puckering and fresh on the acidic, tart palate. Lots of structure here too. Quite pure and fresh palate. Lovely fresh fruit attack on the finish with vibrant acidity. This is totally unique expression of Oregon Pinot Noir for me. It's on the lighter side but so fruity and beautifully balanced. Huge dial up of acid on the finish. Really great stuff! I do wish it had a bit more stuffing on the palate and I'd go higher, but it still offers incredible structural balance.

Dark red, clear. Decanted three hours. Rich, full nose of raspberry, soy, black cherry, almost not like a pinot. Medium tannins, not much acidity (could use a bit more). Light on the palate, but flavors more almost like a cab - menthol, chocolate, coffee, Bbq meat. Long finish. This is a delicious wine, though I never would pick it as an a Oregon pinot.
