Moderate ruby color with a little brick color creeping in at the edges.
Lush dark fruit & spicy-floral profile. Very aromatic style. Black cherry, pomegranate, wild strawberry, rose petal, dried flowers, dried leaves, cinnamon/clove/star anise spice, cedar. One could write a book on the aromatic profile as it opens up in the glass.
Medium-plus body & acid, silky in texture. Dried orange peel & black tea leaf in the dry finish.
Oak Ridge is a high-elevation (1400ft, above the Missoula flood waters) south-facing vineyard on the WA side of the Columbia Gorge AVA.
