I haven’t had anything from Cali in a while let alone Zin so this one took me some time to get used to. Popped and poured but I should have decanted it. The nose started to show after about 30 minutes. Strawberries, raspberries, red cherries, subtle dark fruits and feels like something floral, probably vanilla. The taste is just like the nose, but it really starts to show nicely after an hour. Very subtle, smooth, nice finish, medium length and not very complex but will accompany a lot of dishes. Paired with thin crust pizza entree then steak as a main. Drinking well now, I don’t think it will improve much but probably still good for another 2-3 years.

Great deep purple color, opened up nicely in decanter, nice with a berry and pepper nose. Had with a spicy hamburger dish - great pairing. Drinking well and I’d say at peak.

Nice fruity nose, with a hint of spice... definitely Zinfandel. Another wine that CellarTracker says I need to “drink up”. On the palate, the fruit is definitely fading, leading to a higher feeling of acidity, and some alcohol-based “heat”. Not an un-pleasant bottle, but could it have been better a year ago?

Lots of black cherry and tobacco on the nose, black cherry intensified on the first taste with a nice finish. Equally as pleasant the next day.
