Very mature by now. Had it in my cellar for three years and a half. Dark amber colour, very little acidity, buttery texture. Brought it for Goulash and Chateauneuf, for my friend, that night's birthday child, who's allergic to tannins and could still drink Chateauneuf this way. She loved it.

Poured at our wine group dinner at Two Chefs last night. Another fabulous 4-course meal by Chef Oscar. This wine was a bit puzzling. It's 5 years old but the deep golden color made it look like something from the '90s. I was a little concerned after decanting it, but the nose was solid. Turned outgood to drink and so popular with some of the guys that they went to Total Wine afterward and bought some for their cellars. I thought it was good but not great

Lovely right now. Golden yellow color. Very rich on the nose, with flowery and tropical aromas. The taste is wonderful, like a real symphony of fruits of both tropical (e.g. pineapple, mango) and European (e.g. apricot) origin. There are flavors of honey and flowers as well. The taste is low-acidic, heavy and thick, but not overly fruity or sweet at all.
As the white Rhône wines age quickly, this is in quite a developed phase at the moment. But this phase is adorable, so drink this now, if you have a chance!

Oh yeah. Had this with an Italian wine expert (and I mean an Italian person that is also in the wine business and an expert cook for good measure). All four of us really liked this, showing very very well. I am upgrading this to 92-93 superb CDP Blanc. Very floral expressive and complex nose, nice palette.
As I noticed before, and proved again, this wine is VERY sensitive to temperature. Chill it well in the fridge, it will only open when it increases to a certain very narrow temperature range in the glass. Above or below it will be closed. You may take the bottle out and put back in the fridge several times, or keep it cool in water. But once you find that temperature - wow.
These white CDP are very finicky but I see now why Parker likes them. They are IMHO the finest expression of wine-making art.

Good portion of bottle used for cooking (thanksgiving turkey). Nice acidic clear tasting wine with light oak. Easy to drink with or without food.
