  • Lovely. Bordeaux-like and ready to drink now.

  • An utterly delicious blend of roughly 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petite Verdot. All from the famed Champoux vineyard. Definitely showing its pedigree, this classy wine is near peak and we would suggest the drinking window has probably 5+ years left. Black cherry, plum and blueberry are met with mocha and coffee. Tannins remain present but are not obtrusive. Together they create a very sophisticated and complex wine, probably at peak drinking. A true combination of power and elegance. A spectacular Washington State blend. www.advinetures.ca

  • Some nice dark fruit with some earthy leathery tones like a mature Bordeaux. Still some structure and acidity to keep it in the same place for a couple of years but IMHO this wine is on the other side of peak. With each bottle it gets a bit more subdued. I have one more which I won't wait on very long.

  • Drank from magnum. Great wine but disappointing only due to my overwhelming expectations. I had a bottle a few years ago and it has stuck out as one of the best wines I ever had. I remember distinct coffee, chocolate, dark fruit and sweet cigar flavors. Now it drinks like a mature Bordeaux with more leather and earthy flavors. Still has plenty of acidity to keep it lively and some dark fruit left as well. Again...great wine...just not the wine of my dreams anymore.

  • This bottle was fully decanted. what was left over was consumed two days later. The wine was in good shape and very much like a mature Bordeaux. It is ready to drink but will probably last a few more years if you must.
