Sampled at Oinoscent, from decanter, courtesy of a customer. The wine shows high intensity, earthy, spicy, elegant oaky frame, black cherries, apple geranium. Palate shows elevated acidity, medium body, a touch warm, red cherries, red currants, feels younger in palate, needs time to open up, medium to long finish Decadent

Dry River Pinot Noir Vertical Tasting and a few others (Le Petit Sommelier): Nose is showing med+ intensity, funky and ripe red cherries and berries, nice thin oak layers, ethereal and balanced. Great palate, ethereal again, fruit upfront, a bit thinner in the midpalate, lacking the strength of the 2013 & 2014, balanced though, med/med+ finish. Outstanding quality, drinking now

Good not great. A bit thin on the mid-palate. Not worth the high price tag.

Medium light body but dark in colour
Bright slightly floral nose, very clean cherry fruit flavours, medium length. This wine was delicious and very easy to drink, but there is much more to be revealed given time, one to cellar for 5-10 years if you can
