  Pop and pour and immediately impressive - spicy, aromatic, and much bigger than expected. Much "cleaner" bottle that prior offerings (perfect cork and perfect bottle condition) and it showed. Unfortunately, it fell apart after an hour, so drink now. I'd give it 90 upon opening and 87-88 by the time the bottle dried up.

  at first, hot, i questioned whether the bottle was defective, and it might have been a little. wine was all the way up the cork. however, the nose was pleasant with dark fruit and as long as you get past the out of balance effect, it's a good wine.
  
  following day it's much better. almost like an entirely different wine. nose of dark fruit and a little wood. in much better balance, not hot at all.
  
  i would purchase this again if the price is right, not dissapointed but not enthusiastic.
