Yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of petrol, apricot, peach and a bit of flowers. Flavors of peach, pineapple and a bit of cherry spritz. Medium acidity, medium body. Drink over the next 10-12 years plus or minus.

Germany (Farpointe Cellar): Sage and other dried herbs on the nose, plus candied peaches, citrus and floral notes. Sweet herbs on the palate, with nice peach and grapefruit flavors, and a nice floral finish.

Was expecting less sweet wine. Once i got used to the sweetness of this wine I enjoyed it. I would not call it very complex but it had a lot of depth in the flavors it exhibited. There was some apple flavor, some cotton candy aspect to it - which also included a bit of burnt sugar flavor that was interesting - like the crust on flan. A bit of acidity kept it from going over to what I would call a dessert wine. Wonderful mouth feel with real viscosity to it. Don't know what more aging would do to this but an interesting wine.
