Fattoria Nittardi tasting (Riga): PnP. Clear, ruby-violet colour. The nose starts with dusty and dirty aromas, also strong aromas of charcoal, cherries somewhere deep in the background. Unpleasant, edgy finish. After a while some peppermint and summer meadow aromas appear in the glass. Give it ample time or aerate it, it gratly improves with air. (C+)
