Medium garnet w/ transparency and bricking edges. Aromas of dark and dark red fruits (fresh and dried), damp earth, licorice, black tea, cinnamon, leather, lemon, tar, and a bit of floral. Medium body, medium(+) acid and finish, rustic and old school in constitution, with flavors of cherry, lemon, orange peel, and spice. Little grip to the tannins still post meal (fine w/ food now), so I think there's still some in the tank for a few more years.

Also known under the name "eticetta ora" because of its golden label. Open for 24 hours (vacuum).
Typical, nice sweet hints, likeable. Middle-long finish, a bit flat nose. Bought at the vinyard shop in the middle of Barolo town. The owner (a very nice guy) has beautiful rooms for rent in Barolo town.
