Decanted, notes from day 2, after being open unrefrigerated, overnight, on the counter.
Dark black raspberry, a touch of hoisin, a hint of cola/black tea. Ripe, but impeccable poise. Palate follows the nose, with very juicy acidity and maybe some pepper/clove/anise notes. Just a touch of tannin on the finish. Day 1 just seemed a whole lot more closed, so if this bottle is representative, a few years of bottle age will do wonders for this wine.

A beautiful Chateauneuf-du-Pape! On the nose I find red berries, candy, herbs, licorice, black currants, roasted meat, chocolate, "sugar"... Really nice! The taste is well balanced and youthful with lots of fruit, dark berries, licorice, chocolate, herbs...
In my opinion it is really good now but will of course improve with age.

Hdr Closing Tasting: The same wine poured at the seminar I believe. Another great showing. Inky purple. The nose has black raspberries, black cherries, slightly earthy. On the palate, this is ripe and deep. drinking very well now. Medium tannins. Long finish. Surprisingly open.

Significantly improved over the past couple of years, but probably not something I'd keep for 10 more years. Why not enjoy now?
