  Medium(+) ruby-velvet, black shine, with slow moving legs. Medium(-) developing aromas of blackberry, cherry pie, licorice and spus bois. Dry, medium acidity, medium (+) alcohol, medium supple tannin and full body. Palate of black fruits, pepper, leather, mocha followed by raisins. Quite suave, velvet texture, residual alcohol heat. Good length yet finish misses length.

  Wine is clear and bright. Honestly looks close to a pinot noir. I get orange oil (terpenes), and maybe slight hints of grapefruit(thiols) on the nose with red berries coming through. Very light in character. Relatively high in acid on the palate which translates to a long finish. Some pretty strong tannins which makes sense because I am drinking it so young. On the palate I get hints of balsamic (volatile acid) and red fruit like raspberries.

  Laurierdrop en aardbeien. Licht prikkelend en nog wat onontwikkelde tannines. Complex. Smaak begint soepel te worden maar deze wijn kan nog rijpen. Lange volle afdronk
