Clearly past its prime but improved on the second day! Gold color, nice fruit and good acidity with a flat, slightly odd finish that eventually blew off leaving a pleasant wine. Should have been consumed earlier though.

Old World Blind Tasting Group $40+ (Bin 75): Bright yellow green; dense mineral, fruit, herbs, nice new oak, lemon curd, sage, oregano, awesome mineral; nice texture as well as fresh acid, good nobility for level; delicious.

Such a nice benchmark and representative chassagne. everything in place. Medium bodied. slight acidiTic bite. Minerals and lemon and apples. I could drink this every day and never complain. I had this wine at the winery a year ago and noted how excellent it was and not even a premier cru.

Colour: light straw. Nose - oak, citrus, almond, saline notes, honey. Palate: As per nose. Needs time, potential. Points for wine "as is" now.
