  Gently decanted only about 1 hour before drinking. Deep amber, with garnet bricking to the rim, this offered up a more exotic Nebbiolo profile, with candied orange peel, pot pourri and distinct rose and violet aromas complimenting the tar and anise seed notes. Great freshness on the palate with still vigorous tannic structure, though quite smooth and well integrated, and lovely ripe red fruit rounding out the spicy finish.
