Opened for a dinner so no formal tasting note. We had this with homemade lasagna bolognese.
Purchased on release at the winery when i lived in Seattle. Kept in 55F cellar ever since. Like others have said, this is in a great place right now. Not much reason to wait but it is still quite primary with a slight tannic grip - so this can certainly wait 2-3 more years if you are slow inclined. I have three bottles left and will open one each year for the next three years. These Kevin White wines are aging beautifully!

Day 1: Violets, spice, raspberries, floral and stone. Very concentrated and full of flavor. Medium to long finish and amazing. Kevin White is making some of the best Rhone wines for the money in the US. Another stellar effort. 92 points. Day 2: Nice rustic edge to the wine with underbrush, spice, floral, stone and raspberries. Has a little bit to the finish. Medium plus and good acidity. Outstanding value from Kevin White. 92 points Day 3: Has lost nothing on day 3 which for younger wines is the mark in my opinion of a superior wine. Iron, stone, underbrush, floral, spice and berries. Good acidity and flavor across the palate/finish. Medium plus. Just a stellar wine at a great price point. 92+ points Recommendation: I would hold this for a few more years if you have one left. Plenty in the tank. IF you have a six pack enjoy one a year for a comparison of the evolution.

Double decanted, then poured. Really nicely built wine. Bright, polished, and elegant. Insanely good for the price.

This is such good wine and, if anything, is getting better with age.
