Not much nose. Mouth is boring. Medium bodied, soft, and one-dimensional. No tannins to speak of. Reminds me of $10 mass-produced cali merlot (Blackstone). Not much different on day 2. On day 3 the fruit had disappeared, leaving a thin acidic mess. It probably should have been drunk in 2006.

This one had a nice fruity nose and a vibrant sheen. To taste it retained that fruitiness and finished with soft, smooth, supple tannins. It was a decent, balanced all-rounder rather than anything to get wild about.

A very enjoyable wine for the money. The beginning doesn't seem to support the nose but it comes through on the finish. I tasted it next to the 2002 pennautier collection privee. Not as tannic or complex, but a good starter.

This excellent Languedoc with Merlot, Cabernet, Malbec, Syrah and Grenache has plenty of ripe fruit with pepper and smooth tannins. Medium bodied, very easy to drink and good finish. Very good.
