  • Bought in Enoteca Constantini (Piazza Cavour 16, Rome) in 2014. Opened during family dinner by occasion of my son birthday. Full body, transparent, mature brick-garnet colour. Intense and complex but delicate aroma of red fruits, flowers, cedar tar, spices’ box and truffles complemented by forest floor background. Wild strawberry and juicy palate following by muscular tannins, lovely acidity and long finish. Rich but silky, harmonious and well balanced, gorgeous wine. Food friendly, well paring to medium rare, veal entrecote. Open half hour ahead. Serve 16ºC - 20ºC. Drink now and the next ten/twelve years.

  • Beautiful seductive nose of dry dark red and red berries. Dark strawberries, dried cherries, graphite and soft eucalyptus. Medium (+) bodied with a lively and medium intense acidity. Tannins are velvety and nicely integrated. The palate is very seductive, super complex fruit structure but not fat or hot in any way. Very elegant and sophisticated. Great balance. The finish is fine, feminine and super long.
This is in a great spot now. If you want to you can decant it for some time, but it’s not really necessary in my opinion. Enjoy from now until 2031. (IG)

  • Very well aged, balanced and approachable. Beautiful dark fruit and minerality, but soft on the palate. Two thumbs up.
