Apex bottle of this wine. I imagine the leanness of the vintage has allowed it to keep such an elegant shape. As S said, "This smells like our home," by which she meant everything we like to cook, eat and are about. I liked that take. Nice mix of fruits and that hazy floral/herbal/meadow thing I get from the best versions of this wine. My last bottle and totally on point. Probably the best Beaujolais I've had so far this year, maybe longer. Open if you got em.

Seriously burgundian... if serious burgundy was a bit less oak-infused. Nice development, interesting complexity, and somewhat firm structure, with perfectly integrated wood notes. Really enjoyable food companion. Our only objection would be that the finish has good length yet is slighty low on fruit - but that's the profile of vintage 2012. À point now, with probably five more years to go.

Cherry-dominated aromas with a light addition of oak spice. Excellent structure that combines freshness, softness and firmness. Really enjoyable now, and should develop well for several years more.

Raspberry, meat, baking soda, spices, Gun powder, soy sauce and forest. High acidity and quite a lot of tannins for beeing a gamay. In a really good place right now, but will probably keep for a number of years. This is definately wines that benefit from some cellar time.

Quite open on the nose with lovely red cherry/raspberry fruit, still a bit of youthful whole-cluster candy notes, plus fresh herbs, dusty rocks, ground pepper and brown spice such as cinnamon and nutmeg. Juicy as well as seriously structured on the palate, it drinks well now but seems to have a lot in store for further cellaring, up to ten years as it seems. Definitely premier cru quality here.
