Nose has subtle red fruits. Palate has good balance, tart fruit. Quite a decent wine, but nothing special. Certainly doesn't live up to some other littorai that I've tried.

Decanted 1 hour prior to drinking; Drank from a Schott Zwiesel Pinot Noir Glass
Sight: Medium red ruby color, Mostly clear wine (note: Littorai bottles unfined and unfiltered); Medium viscosity Smell: Nice fruity nose; RRV fruit notes; Intense cherry; Earthy and dusty notes (slightly Burgundian in nature); Faint hint of leather; Some minor wood notes; Red fruit really coming on strong and dominating a sexy and luscious nose; Sour cherry notes came on later; Floral notes made an appearance later as well.... Roses?; Also some great black cherry vapors as well Taste: Was thrown off - expected a heavier wine.... but that's OK! Medium light body wine; Vanillins, Minerals; Some heat that dissipated quickly; Fruit showed through nicely; Continued softening in the glass Overall: Really like this wine and find it highly enjoyable. A Fine Wine! Score: 90+ points.

much better on day 2. Day 1 was a very tight and showed more acid and less fruit. Day 2 the fruit came out and there was sour cherry, pommegranate and earth. still had a strong acid component, finish was much better but still only medium at best. great mouth feel and shows best with food. you can tell there is something special there it just isn't ready yet.

Lovely stuff. First time I’ve had one with decent age. Still super fresh and vibrant

Lovely red cherry, spice, and cedar notes on the nose with layers of complexity on the palate with simply delicious acidity and finish.
