  • No, this wine won't last till 2024. It's showing complex aroma and flavor complexity. A stellar wine caught me by surprise. Don't decant, don't leave it out for hours. The wine fell apart shortly after dinner. While it is "alive", it was sensational.

  • Consumed side-by-side with 2010, both in decanter for 90 mins, consumed over the next 2 hours. 2009 has lots of sediments, while 2010 has little to none.

2009 gave a warm impression on the nose and palate. It has some fruits first, follow by some herby, savourym then acidity. Good complexity with med+ length finish

2010 gave a cooler impression, herby, mint, licorice, then follow by surprisingly decent amount of fruit. Finish was med (-) length, and felt a little short - but overall pretty good for a cool vintage.

Both wine drank best 3 hours+ after throwing it into decanter. Together with amount of fruit on the palate leads me to think a good 5 more years of drinking window at minimum - the bottles we drank weren't in perfect storage temperature either. Great showing from both wines

  • Brought to office fundraiser for the United Way (six Okanagan wines). Decanted 90 minutes. Still dark ruby but garnet hues. Fair amount of tannins left in the bottom of the bottle. High acidity. Savoury flavours starting to emerge. Drinking well now, but certainly has the stuffing to go another five years at least.

  • No formal note.
This was very nice. Colour was changing and looked like it had some age.
I decanted it for an hour and a half and by the time we were into it, it was drinking beautifully. I couldn't rave about it like I did the 2007, but I was glad I opened it. I would not hang onto this beyond 2020.

  • Very good, still has the legs to run for a while longer. Don't be in a hurry to drink it.
