Two good bottles of this. Bright, true Chablis. Goes down quickly. Don’t see any upside to holding further but definitely better now than they were a few years back

Light straw yellow colour. Nose has gooseberries, citrus fruits and a thick ripe feeling. Palate is initially powerful, but has a watery middle part and a long ending. Will wait and see if it comes around after some air. Tentative score: 50+5+12+14+6 (87p) An hour after opening the wine blossoms. There is mango here. And newfound intensity in the mid palate. The acidity is also sharper and the whole wine seems more focused. Very good!
50+5+13+14+7 (89p)

Nice, clean, pure Chablis flavors. Gentle but with mineral and shells. Could have used a touch more acid and energy for my taste. I would enjoy these now--don't see much upside.

Magnum. Slightly hazy yellow. Interesting combination of pear and orange peel. Medium bodied, quite a glossy feel for Premier Cru Chablis without any wood sticking out. Ripe mixed fruit as on the nose, average acidity, but later, a nice stony finish pares it down and doesn't leave one with a sense of exoticism or overripeness.

a good showing...no hints of premox, decent cut and mineral...not unusually intense of focused but pleasant. Probably in it's plateau of maturity
