Joh. Jos. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese 2013. Wow. Superclean med vibrerende frukt. Intens konsentrert men likevel lettbeint og elegant. Veldig fresh og fokusert. Svært lang saliverende finish med nydelig mineralitet. 95p

No formal notes. This wine is incredible. A little sweet for my palate for the ultimate balance but it has everything. I can't believe it is only 7% abv. Stone fruits, hay, straw, petrol, mandarin, apricot, peach. Truth and terroir. That, above all, is what sets this wine into the world-class territory. Glad I have another bottle, but also sad I don't have a case to age and taste over the next 10-20 years. Easily 95 points.

Deep golden colored. In the nose and on the palate beautiful fine notes of stone fruit, apricot, peach, lime, soft orange, dry hay and soft petrol. Medium bodied and an elegant and medium intense acidity. Fantastic mouth feeling! Amazing complexity, multiple fruit layers. The 7% alcohol are integrated beautifully. Superb structure and depth and an extraordinary overall balance between then fruit, the acidity and the sweetness. Very long lasting finish. Although this is very young it’s already in a fantastic spot. But there’s absolute no need to hurry, it can age for decades and probably will just get more exciting. Drink from 2025 - 2040. (IG)

From 375ml. Prior bottle was just over 21 months ago and this wine continues to show impressively. Peach, honey, citrus and floral notes on the nose along with plenty of stone fruit notes. Medium bodied, perhaps a bit more and continues to demonstrate the complexity, concentration and structure that made the first bottle such a standout. It's a combination of rich white orchard fruit upfront, mixed with even richer and more complex stone and tropical notes through the middle. The complexity is such that to list all the flavors you can pick up defeats the ultimate purpose. This wine is considerably more than the sum of the flavors it shows and in fact, is better appreciated at a high level of fruit, acidity, tart notes and citrus notes. This isn't a straight up, rich, lot-of-honey wine, but rather, relies on the blend of fruit notes, coupled with the acidity. This wine is layered and nuanced and has the structure to show well for many years to come.

Peach, lime, stone, mint, jasmine, caramel, white flowers. Good acidity and clarity underpinned after some air. Finish is hearty and spicy. Almost sparkling, bubbly, pinching texture. 94
