Subtle wine with cedar, brambles, earth, bing cherries, and some blackberries. I wanted more evolution but was a nice wine with chicken. Would go well with mushrooms as well.

A refined, but somewhat subdued cab franc with herbal and cherry notes. It does not have a wow factor, but is more of an elegant wine. The acidity is much more balanced now, then when I tasted it three years ago. It went great with the classic pairing of roast chicken and potatoes

Medium deep transclucent red in glass. Muted black cherry, cherry, rasberry, mineral, light earth, herb nose. Palate much the same, moderately long. Lovely cab franc earth/herb edge on finish. Perfectly balanced with subtle tannin in that edge, nice acidity. Fruit stays fresh and deepens with airtime. Enjoyable with mushroom pasta, and on its own. Nicely done. Looking forward to trying the crus from Guiberteau.

A cab franc with a beautifully plump middle. Gorgeous and sultry.
