Last one of a case. Deep colour and somewhat off nose but a brief decant assisted. Fully mature (nearly past it) with faded fruit, savoury, petrol nose, plenty of acidity, nice mouth feel and decent length.

Tasting (Mostly) 2012 at Jean Noel Gagnard (Chassagne-Montrachet): Tasting at domaine. Not to be confused with the Villages Chaumes just tasted. This had been bottled earlier this year, and seemed a little subdued. Minerality and textural elements very clear, but apple and pear flavors and flavors seem very restrained right now.
