Not much to add to henrygjeffreys' note. Creamy and rich on the nose, a bit of oak, spices, smoke. Yellow stone fruit. On the palate very well balanced, nice richness of fruit, enough acidity, gentle minerality, quite complex and long. Very good and excellent value. Drink or keep. 91-93

A private lunch (Restaurant The Clove Club *, London, UK): Aged in large old oak vats on the fine lees for 22 months, 11.5% ABV. Rich and with lots of leesy complexity, impressive chalky minerality, lemon and lime zest, has real depth and energy in spite of slightly low acidity, slender and racy, intense and elegant, good length. Impressive and very distinctive. Not sure how this will age.

100% Chasselas, ripe, rich, toasty nose Lemony fruit, great acidity though not lots, fresh, nutty, very well integrated oak, herbs, round texture Long, good intensity, Like a low acidity Burgundy

22 month on the lees. The wine was medium yellow-golden in colour and offered citrus, apple pit and nuts as well as hints of firestone and smoke on the mildly spicy nose. On the palate the medium-bodied wine showed apple, citrus, lemon and shredded nuts as well as hints of firestone and smoke, complemented by a mineral touch and distinct spiciness, with fresh, medium-plus acidity, a good mouthfeel and very good length. Nice!
