My final bottle of Three, and the best one. VEry Classic bdx-nose with cassis, leather and some green peppers. ON the palate medium bodied, elegant with dried red and dark berries, leather, fine acidity, mild tannin but also av quite long mouthfeel. Really nice.

A bit of cassis on the nose and on the tongue to begin. Soon changed to tobacco and a hint of mint with a musky note. Smooth texture and a little acidty left. Shortly after it went flat. Past its best as others have said. But still quite enjoyable.

Slight note rotting leaves on the nose, broken down fruit and some oak. I don't think this is one of those wines that ought to have been kept this long. It is some approximation of what claret meant for aging can be but there is a lot missing. Not awful but there isn't much point in drinking these so old. 87
