A nice enough wine but nothing that says Veneto much less Italy about it. Purple in color. The nose is a bit dusty with some dark cherries. Fruit forward. Not a lot of acidity but certainly not flat. Drinkable if lacking any uniqueness, depth or sense of place.

PnP and had with chicken parm. This was surprisingly good bottle from Trader Joe's and a good QPR. Red fruit, in a modern style a bit of earth to it, smooth, light tannins. Not going to knock your socks off but went well with food and a good QPR

Deep and full flavors of stewed fruits and tobacco with a good finish...good for an $8 wine.

Decent ripasso, not to fruity and decent length. A bit one-dimensional.
