Holding up better than I imagined. Golden color, toast and peach blossom nose. Still perfect acidity and structure with pineapple and vanilla on palate. Smooth, silky finish. Terrific with crab-stuffed sole, aioli,Japanese seaweed salad and quinoa tabouli.

I gave this wine an 88 back in 2018 but this bottle was far better (both were purchased from same source!). Despite being made in a Burgundian style, this producer doesn't always age well but this bottle was very impressive. Medium/dark golden yellow in the glass, very clear and bright. Really pleasant nose of brioche, almonds, some charred embers and even some pine needle to give it a flourish of complexity. Medium to low acidity, just about where it should be right now, finish was perhaps a bit more floral. Full bodied but nuanced - with no one element dominating the wine, always a good sign. It held up very well in the relatively brief 45 minutes we drank it, so glad I tried this again despite my lackluster 2018 experience.

Excellent Chardonnay. Oak integrated nicely with stone fruit. Very long finish.

Drank over two nights, light yellow, peach, pear, ripe apple and citrus at the end. Gorgeous!
