I've had this four times now and these bottles (all from the same source as Siggy and BradE) are fairly consistent. Not the wow it should be due to its advanced age, but still a wonderfully complex wine that is most enjoyable to sip. Seems to be getting better the longer it's open (going on two hours now).

Siggy's Anti-AFWE Bordeaux Tasting: Rusty yellow color. The nose is dominated by oxidation with some subdued musty apple/apricot and bread dough aromas breaking through. The taste is surprisingly good with some lemon and honey complimenting a dominating minerality. Has good intensity and is very lively on the palate. Finishes relatively clean and with good acidity. Enjoyable enough for what it is but definitely in decline as this showed as much more advanced than the last bottle tasted. Drink up soon.

Deep yellow gold color. Evolved but still lively. Moderately oxidative, with intense yeast/dough flavors and a hint of freshly chopped mushrooms to go along with apple cider-like fruit. Funky, but not in a bad way. Lovely mousse; good acidity; long finish. At or past its peak. A touch better than the bottle of this I tasted back in 2008, from the same source.
