Bright greenish yellow color. Tense and bright nose of oyster shells, green apple, lemon, slight tropical fruit. Excellent tension on the palate, mineral and with refreshing acidity, with a hint of menthol. Very long finish. This still has years to go.

A very impressive wine - so well balanced so much minerality - so much clarity in the wine - the fruit is grapefruit, lemon, apple, some hints of pear and some flowers. The wine is still developing - this is a very well balanced wine and I am happy to give solid 94. I really like this wine.

A typical tale of Raveneau. Best after 3 hours in the decanter. I really do love Raveneau’s 13’s. It’s an early drinking vintage (by Raveneau standards) while you wait for the surrounding ones. It’s stunningly elegant with immense depth of waxy yellow fruit and chiseled minerality on the palate with créme fraîche, spices and a touch of botrytis influenced saffron in its layered aromatics. High tension and racy lemony acids provide a seamless balance to its power and richness. No surprise, beautiful wine.

This was drinking really well! Creamy and rich with bright lemon citrus fruit along with a good bit of oyster shells. Good (not great) acidity, but just exceptional balance.

Last drunk in September 22. 91 then and a point more here. This is still youthful and will continue to improve. An interesting comparison to 2013 Dauvissat 1er cru Forest - which was enjoyable but more forward (see separate note).
