  Color: medium burgundy: grey and blue blend with ruby
  Nose: red fruited. A nice cherry and sour cherry with hints of leather and earth. Barreled but not dominantly so
  Palate: high acidity, medium tannins for a medium body. Very nice with food because of the structural components. The aromatics are very tame, but defined and precise
  Finish: medium
  
  One of my first burgundys with a little age. That quality where the acidity has its own personality as sour candy does jump out; otherwise this is a little muted for my taste. Still, with a risotto alla milanese this was very nice

  Southern Rhône trip with Rainer. Our second stop at wine shop VINOBOAM in Beaune. €59. 13.5% ABV. Red fruit, smoke and hints of spice on the nose. Red fruit, tea, spices, a hint of menthol and mild vegetal notes on the palate, with good acidity, ripe, well-integrated tannin and very good length. Well-balanced. A little closed. Good potential; needs some time. 90+
