Cherry and floral nose. Color is almost as pale as a Rose' - very light garnet. Tart fruit with cherry and raspberry. Menthol and some black pepper spice. Has the acidity to hold up with food well but needs to be more interesting on it's own.

Started out slow, with a metallic flavor, but over time developed pleasing berry flavors. Regrettably, the nose was bland throughout. The true virtue of this wine is its smooth, light body which allowed for mellow quaffing over the course of the evening. Given its relative inexpensiveness, this seemed like a decent everyday option.

Color: Light garnet. Nose: Cherry Cola with floral tones. Sweet berries and sweet oaky tannin turning to spice in the snappy finish. It was better after 2+hrs being open. Still a bit rough around the edges, but had some nice peppery spice. Definitely not as good as prior vintages for me.

A few swirls of the glass and down the hatch. Nothing memorable here. Some distant fruit and lack of overall structure. But then again, it's a $12 bottle! The search continues.

Straightforward and a bit rustic, but it shows a touch of spice on the nose and some decent raspberry fruit thereafter. Starts out a little metallic, but that eases up with some aeration. Overall, I can't complain: it's roughly balanced and has enough fruit to be worth the $13 that I paid for it.
