Ruby garnet. On the prettier side of Cornas, with more n the way f florals and fruit on the nose. The palate has pepper and spice to complement the dark red fruit. Cool and relatively easy going here too with mostly resolves tannins.

Pop and pour, notes from 30 min open. Last btl was abput 5 years ago, and apparently this hasn't budged, judging by my previous note. Fantastically drinkable, and showing maybe the slightest hint of dried leather. In fact, upon rereading my previous note, I would use the exact same descriptors. This is so bright on the palate, and so well-balanced, with nice tannic grip on the finish. This is my last btl, but I suspect the drink-by dates (currently suggesting to drink by 2023) are extremely conservative.

Only had a glass, but this seemed to be a nice easy drinking, medium weight cornas, that still had some nice typicity - mineral, smoke and dark berry fruit with nice acidity and a decent finish. Not super complex, but nicely balanced with a good tasty finish with hints of meat and smoke.

Consistent with previous notes almost 2 years ago, but fruit is opening up now. Not super complex (yet), but balanced and well-rounded. Drink 2020-2025.

Similar to the prior note - not particularly memorable but really nicely balanced with a long finish.
