This is decidedly but not devastatingly South African. This is loaded with greenery and hard edges. Road tar, smoke and herbal notes. Relatively benign texture. Not for me, perhaps this would have been better in its youth. 86
Edit:
Just read the older ratings for this wine and it seams that people love it, as does my wife. When she was describing it, we were in perfect synch, but she loved it, where I just tolerate it.

Clear light medium red. Fresh red fruit, herbs and a hint of earthiness. Not very developed. Dry red fruit flavours and a very dry finish.
Needs time I think or a mediocre bottle.
