Wow, what a difference from 4 years ago! This has matured into a beautiful village Gevrey with lots of earthy red fruit and good depth and concentration for its level. The sous bois undertones are still abit on the greenish side, but overall this was drinking well tonight almost immediately after opening and drinking very well after about 2 hours of air.

Aromatically limited after about 30 minutes. Good ruby color. Good entry on the palate with uplifting acidity, bright red fruits, incense, a bit of Rhône like funk, integrated tannin, and good length on the finish. No sediment or tartrates. Day 1 - 88
Day 2 - Half the bottle stored overnight. Much more open the second day - sous bois and red licorice aromatics. Remained very vibrant, with the red fruit bringing forward a lovely medium bodied mouthfeel with a persistent spice showing. Much improved on day 2. Day 2 score 90-91.
This seems capable of aging well. Drink now with decant or allow to slow ox for several hours. Drink now - 2027.

Very nice tonight and consistent with previous notes. Still abit on the rustic side.
