Tasted after 30 minutes of air. Over the hill and fading. Nuts and wood. The oak is overwhelming the fruit here. Some acid. Just no fruit left. Too bad as I love these Sixto wines when they are younger.

Smashing wine that demands patience as it gains tremendous traction when given enough air. Aromatic, buttery, and floral, with bright and inviting tropical fruit, toffee-like nuance, bottle age complexity, and wisps of oak that glide effortlessly on a glyceriny texture. Very high quality Washington Chardonnay. 91+

Oak and smokey notes are prominent, but the wine is lighter and crisper than the nose suggests. The fruit does seem to be fading a bit as the oak notes are a bit overpowering. May be time to begin drinking remaining bottles. Purchased for $25 on clearance, which is a steal, but $50 is pushing it for what this bottle delivers.

Light, golden straw in color with medium nose. Bright acidity, balanced oak. Easy solo drinker but also wouldn't overpower most meals. Drink now.

Served blind.
Bright American oaky Chardonnay in a good way.
Quite delicious and bold, but not overbearing or over the top.
Still drinking quite well.
