Nose: delicate, but concentrated. Pear, yellow apple. Minerals and smoke.
Tasting: medium-bodied, med-low on acid. Fruit probably slightly over the top, but not gone. Yellow apples from onset towards peak intensity, medium length for Mersault. Some tropical notes in finish, lemon. Butter mixed with green, earthy notes, peas - classic for Mersault. 88 p

Hazelnuts, baked apples, honeydew shaved coconuts very correct nose. Fat, lush mouth with long finish. The wine would get a higher score, but for being too fat.

A screw cap and it smelled of rotten cabbage. Over sulphured and so reduced OR Party Pantry in Texas is not storing wine properly as rotten cabbage is a classic smell associated with Light Strike. THE PROPRIETOR refused to take the bottle back or offer a refund.
