These wines of the Jura are under-appreciated and quite unusual. Perhaps an acquired taste, too. Slightly maderized Chardonnay which tastes a little like a fino sherry. Excellent with hard cheese, like aged gouda. And not bad with grilled opakapaka. Complex palate of lightly toasted pine nuts, citrus, and an acidic backbone. Really tasty. I will definitely be looking for more of this region to try.
