Nose: Oxidative, sherry-stylish, bruised pear, bit of apple. Bitter almond, amaretto, pencil, white peach, melon. A touch of something reminiscent of wax but not like honey. As you can see, extremely complex. Creamy yet fresh palate. Broad and slightly sweet probably due to the ripe fruit and honey. Tastes definitely much younger than 15 years. Long finish resting on ripe honey melon. Amazing how this aged. Wonderful, festive wine (and a great company for our sea bass with saffron risotto).

Opened one hour in advance. Bronze color. Rich hazelnut aroma. Complex flavors of nuts, apples and spice. I know that makes it sound like fruitcake, but it's much fresher and livelier than any fruitcake I've ever had. Full, oxidative hazelnut finish.
Definitely reminiscent of a fino sherry, but richer and deeper. Anyone who likes this style should love this wine.

just love this wine... Oxydised style with nuts, lemon, old oak, terroir.

Frisk, balanserad, floral, ej så jästig men med typiska oxtoner. Bra drickålder.

Very different! The Savagnin grape needs further exploration.
