  • Probably the finest Chassagne I've ever tasted.
I don't have an explanation for why this was so outstanding. Tasted more like a great puligny or Batard.

  • Medium gold in color; It may be the longest name of any wine but it definitely brought the goods. It had a shy nose of vanilla with intense flavors of peach, vanilla and limestone. These flavors carried through to one of the longest finishes I've noticed in a white wine in a while. The only issue was the lack of a nose - it would be a 95 pointer but there were few aromas. It still had significant acidity so it will hold for a while. On the flip side the wine is probably at its peak or slightly over. Alas I have no more bottles to judge it by.
