  Pale to medium purple, inviting nose of black cherry, licorice, subtle spice, and hints of strawberry, delicate but complex on the palate with floral tart red berry fruit, saline, soft tannins and medium plus acidity, finishes like a rockstar with layers of mineral driven red fruit, spice, earth, and on and on
  
  Note: fortunate to have caught this one early but even at the current price I consider it a bargain, it's the kind of wine that reminds you why Burgundy is the queen of wine
