  • Sensational of purity and minerality ! Totally alive, creamy with a touch of oak.

  • Just shy of the magical 90, but still an excellent bottle. Good balance, crisp without being sharp.

Looking at my TN from last year, I suspect that the wine did not change that much, but my palette did. I think I am bit more open to leaner W Burgundies than I have been in the past.

  • Generally a good bottle, although a little lean for my taste. It opened up a bit through the bottle, and some fruit was more present toward the end. Crisp and sharp, although not too sharp.

  • Decent bottle, but no drama. Good minerality, maybe a little flinty. Not quite rich enough for my taste, but I prefer my white Burgundies a little richer than many people prefer them to be. I have another, and I am not certain how long to let it rest.

  • This wine was taken from my cellar and presented in double-blind fashion to our Friday tasting group at Vintage Wines, Ltd. My tasting was accordingly unblinded. The robe is light gold and the nose shows moderately intense aromas of honeysuckle, wet stones and lemon zest. Medium-bodied on the palate, with low-to-medium acidity, good minerality and citrus-dominant flavors. The middle palate is solid but the medium-length finish is relatively flabby (for a white Burgundy). That said, this wine is certainly enjoyable and would complement light fare that does not demand a higher acid wine. I would not serve this wine with dishes such as heirloom tomatoes, etc. Drink now-12/13.
