Beautiful wine. Cherry & raspberries, nice thread of spice follows through to a smooth, long finish with resolved tannins. IMO this has 5-7 years more runway but drinking wonderfully now.

Opened for 3 hours Ruby red with slight brown color. Black cherry, leather, hints of cheese, dried prune, tree bark, some nice spices a little bitterness on the finish. A bit of walnut, some pepper. Nice Brunello.. Tannins are relatively strong, but not overpowering. I would say this peaks in the next 5-8 years.

(Uccelliera Brunello di Montalcino) Medium dark red violet color; aromatic, raspberry, black raspberry, light licorice, dried cherry nose; tasty, rich, poised, cherry, raspberry puree, dried cherry palate; tasty now but could use 6-plus years; long finish (15% alcohol) 95+ points
