Brought to a large dinner, slow-ow'd 90 minutes or so before we got to this. Much more tannic than I was expecting. Had some dark savory cured meat aspects, olive tapenade and blackberry but to me what stood out was the firm tannins. Guess I was expecting more given past bottles.

Little behind in some tasting notes. Had this a week back or so. Very savory with loads of iron, cured meats, olive juice, dried herbs and some blackberry thrown in to boot. Nice balance, drinking well and should hold here for 5 years.

Monthly Tasting Group: California: Anything but Napa (BLVD Kitchen & Bar, Wayzata, MN): Small glass over an hour. Dense, full bodied, dark berries, firm tannins. Didn't know what to expect here, but it was better than I thought it might be. 89 to 90pts.

Possibly corked - nose suggested it but modest fruit, ripe cherry a bit of blackberry, and some spice suggested not irredeemable.
